We are SO excited to announce that summer camp registration for our tot camps and our end-of-summer big kid camps will begin at 8 pm on Wednesday, January 7.
Our tot camps run from June 8- August 7 and are for toilet-trained children ages 3-6. They will be held in the preschool classrooms at Mount Olivet United Methodist Church, except for the week of July 13. We will be at the Lyon Village Community House for 4 days this week. We have some really special things planned for this summer. As always, Wednesdays are for our much-loved water play. In addition, we will have weekly assemblies which is new for this summer. We are super excited about this as we know the children will love what we have planned.
Tuition is $210 a week for our tot camps. All materials and daily snacks are included. The core hours are 9:30-1:15. Your children can “Stay and Play” until 2:00 for an additional $45 per week. Register for 5 weeks of tot camp at full-price and receive $50 off every subsequent week of tot camp. The discount is $40 during the week of July 13.

Our big kid end-of-summer camps run the weeks of August 24 and 31. These will be held at the Lyon Village Community House.
We will take a field trip to the Air and Space Museum Tuesday, August 25 and on Tuesday, September 1 we will take a trip to the National Building Museum on Tuesday, September 1st. EverWonder will purchase the metro tickets as well as the tickets to the National Building Museum.
Tuition is $350 per week OR you may drop-in for $70 daily, OR become and EverWonder Insider (passes can be bought on our registration page) and save BIG on camps. 5 single day passes are $325, 10 single day passes are $600, 15 single day passes are $825 and can be purchased on our registration page. Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do You See?

EverWonder what it would be like to grow vegetable soup or to be an entomologist?
Cruise into Kindergarten with the much-loved children’s authors/illustrators, Lois Ehlert and Eric Carle! Activities will include reading, writing, math, science, social studies, art, music, and the most creative dramatic play centers in town. Selections by Eric Carle will include “1, 2, 3 to the Zoo,” “The Tiny Seed,” “Pancakes, Pancakes.” We’ll read “Growing Vegetable Soup,” “Color Zoo,” “Fish Eyes” and “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom (illustrated by Lois Ehlert) by Lois Ehlert. Over the river, and through the woods… to Kindergarten we will go!
Campers will enjoy a visit by a local petting zoo during the week of June 8 and a Naturalist from the Long Branch Nature Center will visit camp during the week of June 15.

F is for Farm Animal Fun (3-6 year olds)
EverWonder what life would be like on a farm?
Baa, moo, cock-a-doodle-do how do YOU do? Cluck, neigh and quack your way into camp this week where it’s all about the farm! We’ll learn all about farm animals, farm-to-table cooking and so much more!
The highlight of our week will be a visit by a local petting zoo where the children will gently be introduced to various farm animals.
June 15-19
B is for Beneath the Light of the Moon (3-6 year olds)
EverWonder who’s awake when the sun goes down and the moon comes up?
Late at night, when the moon is out and most of us are tucked snugly in our beds some animals and some people are awake- and doing all sorts of interesting things! Whether it’s a raccoon sifting through trash, owls hunting for prey, or fireflies lighting up the sky they are all busy going about their “day.” Street sweepers, zookeepers, bridge painters, donut bakers, window dressers and trash collectors are also working hard getting the job done. At camp this week, we’ll explore our world through the eyes of nocturnal animals and night shift workers. You’ll be surprised at just how much goes on beneath the light of the moon as most of us sleep the night away…
A naturalist from Long Branch Nature Center will be visiting camp this week to talk about nocturnal animals. They’ll be bringing flying squirrels in, too!

S is for Super Sleuths and Secret Agents (3-6 year olds)
EverWonder what it would be like to be a Private Eye?
The secret’s out, you are about to enter the underground world of the pint-sized spies among us. As a spy candidate, you will learn the stealthiest tricks of the trade. You will choose a secret identity and discover why this stealth way of life is essential to every secret agent. You will uncover clues, design your very own spy gear, learn super stunts and balance, jump and crawl your way through a super secret obstacle course.
Captain All-Star, “the clumsiest magician in the DMV,” will be buzzing in for a show this week!
June 29-July 3
P is for Puffer Fish, Pelicans and Pirates (3-6 year olds)
EverWonder what it would be like to be an aquanaut?
Who lives under the deep, blue sea? Sail with us and you will see! Crabs, dolphins, starfish, and turtles to name a few. From our pirate ship we’ll have quite the view. Let’s discover what will sink and what will float in our very own classroom moat. What color will you make your treasure chest? The ones filled with loot are the very best. We’ll eat pancakes that look like fish, this you do not want to miss. Will you find mermaid and mermen? Maybe they’re hiding in their den? Hmmm…
A pirate impersonator will be visiting us at camp this week!

D is for Diggin’ for Dinosaurs (3-6 year olds)
EverWonder what it would be like to be a paleontologist?
Hop on our time machine and travel with us back to the Jurassic time period when dinosaurs roamed the earth. We’ll make dinosaur footprints, dig for dinosaur bones, find fossils and make our very own volcanoes. As a special treat, Black Rock Reptiles will be bringing in some special friends to touch and see!

Lego Lovers (3-6 year olds)
EverWonder what it would be like to work and play with hundreds of Lego, Duplo and blocks?
These awesomely simple toys will be our tools for this exciting week of camp. Activities will include printing with Lego, creating mazes, building and testing the stability of structures, matching, patterning, bowling with blocks and so much more!

M is for Merrymaking Musicians (ages 3-6)
Time to boogie on down at EverWonder! Let your inner musician shine at this fun-filled week of camp where we’ll make our own instruments, learn new songs and dance our pants off.

P is for Picasso (ages 3-6)
EverWonder what it would be like to learn about many different artists?
This week, camp is all about learning about different artists. We’ll study Matisse, Pollock, O’Keefe, Picasso and Calder to name a few. Campers will work on paintings, collages, prints and 3-D art. Each day will bring a new adventure.
We look forward to a special visit from a local author/illustrator of children’s books.

Carnival! (ages 3-6)
EverWonder where you can step right up and have a ball?
At our carnival you can have it all. We’ll have face painting, games, a moon bounce, tattoos, a photo booth and more- don’t miss it, y’all!

Mishmash- EverWonder’s Greatest Hits! (5-10 year-old campers)
EverWonder what it would be like to mishmash the best of the best of EverWonder’s Camps?
A new end-of summer-tradition continues! We’ll revisit some of our most popular themes including Survivor, Minute to Win It, Duct Dynasty, Incredible Edibles, Globetrotters, Super Sleuths and Secret Agents, It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane, It’s an EverWonder Camper, Superheroes and Superheroines and SO MUCH MORE!
As always, the projects and activities will all be new, but the themes will all be our favorites.
On Tuesday, 8/25 we will take a field trip to the National Air and Space Museum via the metro. EverWonder will purchase the metro tickets.

Back by popular demand!! Our week-long end-of-summer LEGO camp where the challenges will be even more colossal than they were before!
Our innovative and challenging Lego camp encourages creativity and higher level thinking skills while fostering self-confidence in a safe and caring environment.
Cancelation Policy for all summer camps:
You may have a full credit less a 20% cancelation/registration fee if you cancel your purchase on or before 30 days before the camp begins. This includes “stay and play” for tot camps and before and after care for August camps (when applicable). Your full credit must be used by August 31, 2016. Your credit is also non-transferable to another child outside your family. If you cancel fewer than 30 days before a camp begins there will be no credit rewarded. There are no refunds.
